I'm going to say that only tokens effect your status on the leaderboards. Do not quote me, but I am 99.9% sure you will not be taken off the leaderboards.

I recently had to start a new account on DC because my old iPhone broke, and I really want book of war and golden goose to help speed me back to immortal.  I don't want to get them tho if it will make it so my progress doesn't get submitted to the leaderboards. I've looked all over these boards and can't find a straight up answer if that will be the case or not.  Can anyone help me and let me know what if any are the leaderboard consequences for getting book of war and golden goose from IAP?

I just moved from an iPhone to an Android based phone and the only thing I really miss is DC.  I was wondering if there was anything on the table to port DC to the Android platform.  There is huge deficit of decent games in the Android market.  Anything with the quality of DC would completely stand out.

Any news on porting this to Android??  Huh

Hello people!

I'd like an advice. I can beat Melwen on Legend and of course Mythic but Heroic and below she just blasts me to oblivion.
Should I get rid of my Armageddon trinket or what?

Yours, Toerag.

I was bored at work today and started thinking about DC and that came to my mind. Let people hear your funny DC related things, like Warriors contacting the union because General just orders them around while he just sits on his behind doing nothing, or the Skeleton Daltons (the 4 red skeletons on Helegom map accompanied by the 2 orcs) complaining about how they're only monster NPC's instead of player character heroes.

Hi Guys,

To clear legend and up with the general I had to switch to regalia and regular gear.  Using the book of war and golden goose as much as possible did eliminate almost all the grinding though (all the way up).  I'll have try and see how far I can get with an IAP set.

I tried all the packs, but I probably did use the blue pack the most.  Even using IAP, to start over and get the general through legend is quite challenging (hard!) and very fun even after having done it before.  Like you say, I also reset my skills many times to maximize effect and had to sometimes add a warrior or archer attack trinket.

The difference between red and blue pack dual wands is red is full power to first 2 then half then half then half etc ... blue wand is divided power equal to all.  Red clears mythic and I think all of immortal except siria R5-R20 without having to cast spells.  Not having to build up wisdom and power skills allows a much lower level Melwen to advance quickly.

The only thing about the (Melwen) red pack is that I think the 2 biggest challenges for her are helegom legend and helegom mythic R20 (this rev v1.4.3).  They are kind of like the siria immortal R20 of v1.4.2 for the general.  The red pack takes that away to some extent.  For new players who really like the game and want the challenge, I'd say stick with the regular gear first time around (and ask questions if you get stuck) then play the game again later with IAP.

What's the best orc breastplate anyone's got out there (for fighting Siria with General)?

I've got 4 UD Orc Breastplates:

UD Clumsy Blessed Orc BP of Champ  +19 Combat, +247 Armor, +18 IC, -8 Gate, +94 WAR
UD Lizard's Noble Orc BP of Exc        +19 Combat, +194 Armor, +19 IC, +10 BC, +28 AAR
UD Blessed Orc BP of Slayer             +19 Combat, +238 Armor, +18 IC, +187 BAR
UD Lizard's Blessed Orc BP of Arc      +20 Combat, +244 Armor, +19 IC, +Hero Poison Imm, +148 MAR

But strangely enough, the one I used to beat Siria Demigod was an MD Orc BP:

MD Witty Lizard's Orc BP of Champ    +16 Combat, +168 Armor, +8 Cunning, +17 IC, +85 WAR

And even though I have 2 UD Slayer weapons, I used an MD Weapon on Siria:

MD Witty Glorious Adam GS of Slayer   +1098 HAR, +9 Cunning, +8 IC, +169 BAR, -2 Move

With that sword, the General could take out the first wave and a lot of the second by himself (with Greed) and could easily finish off the first set of giant Golems.  Those guys were my biggest problem.  But the sword has low Cunning, which was a problem, so the MD Orc BP made up for that.

Be nice to get a good breakdown of the damage the IAP packs do vs. the armor of the mobs at higher levels.
I even need to check if the combo wand for melwen distributes damage equally or scales down as it strikes targets, ie Light vs. Ice damage across multiple targets.
Still at the higher difficulties, every point of everything seems to count and it is unlikely that the IAP packs will hold up.
